How AI Is Used
AI supports accreditation workflows by helping users organize evidence, identify potential evidence alignments, generate draft narrative suggestions, improve clarity, identify documentation gaps, summarize large collections of information, and support readiness reviews.
Human Oversight Is Required
Tribe AccredAI does not automatically approve narratives, submit accreditation reports, make compliance determinations, replace institutional review processes, or override user decisions. All final actions are performed by authorized users.
Institutional Ownership of Data
Institutions retain ownership of all content uploaded to Tribe AccredAI, including evidence files, narratives, reports, assessment data, accreditation documentation, and institutional records. Tribe AccredAI does not claim ownership of institutional content.
Data Usage & Model Training
Tribe AccredAI does not use customer content to train public AI models. Institutional information is processed solely to provide platform functionality and AI-assisted workflows, with appropriate safeguards for sensitive information.
Transparency
AI-generated outputs support decision-making, not replace it. AI suggestions may contain errors, should be independently reviewed, and are advisory in nature. Human expertise remains essential.
Bias & Fairness
Generative AI may reflect limitations present in training data and underlying models. We promote responsible use by requiring human review, supporting evidence-based decision-making, preserving institutional control over outputs, and maintaining transparency about AI-generated suggestions.
