Terms of Use
By accessing or using Tribe AccredAI, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform.
Seller Identity
The Tribe AccredAI platform (“Tribe AccredAI”, the “Platform”, “we”, “us”) is provided by Tribe Consulting, LLC, operating under the brand Tribe AccredAI. By using the Platform, you are entering into an agreement with Tribe Consulting, LLC.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Platform Purpose
Tribe AccredAI is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Tribe Consulting, LLC. The Service is software only; Tribe Consulting, LLC does not provide accreditation consulting, professional advisory services, accreditation decisions, legal advice, or regulatory consulting under these Terms. Institutions remain solely responsible for all accreditation submissions, decisions, and compliance determinations.
Tribe AccredAI provides software tools intended to support accreditation, compliance, and institutional reporting workflows. The Platform is designed to assist with evidence organization, workflow coordination, AI-assisted drafting, collaboration, and submission preparation.
Tribe AccredAI does not provide legal advice, accreditation guarantees, regulatory certifications, or independent compliance determinations.
Eligibility & Organizational Use
Users must be of legal age in their jurisdiction and must have authority to access and use institutional materials uploaded to the Platform. Organizations are responsible for managing user permissions, maintaining account security, and ensuring appropriate internal governance over Platform usage. You agree to keep your credentials confidential and to provide accurate, current information.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
- upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
- attempt unauthorized access, probe, scan, or interfere with Platform security or functionality;
- scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Platform;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Platform;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Platform;
- spam, harass, or harm other users.
AI-Assisted Content
The Platform includes generative AI features. The following rules apply to all AI-assisted use:
- Prohibited use. You may not use AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes of real people without consent, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that sexually exploits minors, hate speech, harassment, malware, instructions for wrongdoing, or content designed to jailbreak or circumvent safety controls of any model.
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for the prompts you submit, how you use the outputs, verifying accuracy before relying on outputs, and ensuring you hold the necessary rights to any content you submit as input.
- IP and takedown. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, contact legal@accredai.com. Repeated infringers will have their accounts terminated.
- Moderation. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.
- Accuracy disclosure. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Outputs are not suitable for regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial, accreditation determinations, etc.) without independent review and human oversight. Institutional personnel must review and approve generated content prior to submission or publication.
User Content & Licence
You retain ownership of materials you upload (“User Content”). You grant Tribe Consulting, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display User Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Platform to you.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Platform within the scope of your selected plan, subject to these Terms.
FERPA & Student Education Records
For customers in the United States subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”, 20 U.S.C. §1232g; 34 CFR Part 99), the following terms apply to any “education records” (as defined by FERPA) that the customer (the “Institution”) uploads to or processes through the Platform:
- Roles. The Institution is the data controller for education records. Tribe Consulting, LLC acts as a “school official” with “legitimate educational interests” under 34 CFR §99.31(a)(1)(i)(B), performing services for which the Institution would otherwise use its own employees, under the Institution’s direct control with respect to the use and maintenance of education records.
- Institution warranties. The Institution represents that it has authority to upload any student records it provides, has obtained any consents required under FERPA or other applicable law, and will only upload records consistent with its FERPA program and the contracted purpose.
- No redisclosure. Tribe Consulting, LLC will not redisclose personally identifiable information from education records except (a) back to the Institution, (b) to subprocessors bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations and acting on the Institution’s behalf, (c) as directed in writing by the Institution, or (d) as required by law.
- AI processing. Where AI-assisted features process evidence content, the Institution controls — via in-product settings — whether evidence flagged as containing identifiable student records may be sent to AI subprocessors. The default is that such content is not sent to AI subprocessors absent the Institution’s explicit opt-in.
- Return/destruction. Upon termination, the Institution may export its data; thereafter education records will be destroyed in accordance with the schedule set out in the DPA.
- FERPA Addendum. Additional FERPA-specific commitments — including security measures, breach notification, audit support, and assistance with parent/student rights requests — are set out in the Data Processing Addendum and the FERPA disclosure page.
Intellectual Property
Tribe Consulting, LLC retains all right, title, and interest in the Platform software, interface designs, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property. No rights are granted except those expressly set out in these Terms.

You may stop using the Platform at any time by cancelling your subscription through Paddle.
On termination, your right to access the Platform ends. You may request export of your User Content within a reasonable window after termination, after which it may be deleted in line with our retention practices.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Tribe Consulting, LLC harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, internet or utility failures, or governmental action.
