Tribe Accred AI Platform Standards

Tribe Accred AI is designed to support accreditation, compliance, and institutional reporting workflows through secure, transparent, and human-governed AI systems. These Platform Standards describe the principles that guide how the platform is built, maintained, and used.

Last Updated: May 2026

Our platform exists to reduce administrative burden, preserve institutional knowledge, and help accreditation teams operate with greater clarity and continuity across reporting cycles.

1. Human Oversight & Institutional Control

Tribe Accred AI is intentionally designed as an assistive system—not an autonomous decision-maker.

The platform may help users:

  • organize accreditation evidence,
  • generate draft narratives,
  • map materials to standards and criteria,
  • coordinate workflows,
  • and streamline collaboration across teams.

However, all final institutional decisions remain under human authority.

Tribe Accred AI does not:

  • submit accreditation materials independently,
  • certify compliance,
  • make regulatory determinations,
  • replace institutional review processes,
  • or guarantee accreditation outcomes.

Organizations are responsible for reviewing and approving all submitted materials.

2. Evidence Integrity & Traceability

Accreditation work depends on trust, documentation integrity, and historical continuity. Tribe Accred AI is designed to preserve traceability between:

  • uploaded evidence,
  • standards and criteria,
  • generated narratives,
  • reviewer comments,
  • and approval workflows.

Our platform aims to support:

  • evidence lineage,
  • version awareness,
  • audit readiness,
  • structured collaboration,
  • and institutional memory retention across accreditation cycles.

Users remain responsible for validating the completeness, relevance, and accuracy of all materials uploaded to the platform.

3. Responsible AI Usage

AI functionality within Tribe Accred AI is intended to support operational efficiency while preserving human judgment.

AI-assisted features may include:

  • evidence classification,
  • narrative drafting,
  • content summarization,
  • standards alignment,
  • workflow recommendations,
  • and organizational assistance.

Generated outputs should always be reviewed by qualified institutional personnel prior to use, publication, or submission.

Tribe Accred AI is not intended to:

  • provide legal advice,
  • replace accreditation consultants,
  • substitute for faculty or administrative expertise,
  • or function as an authoritative accrediting body.

4. Transparency & Explainability

We believe institutions should understand how AI contributes to operational workflows. Tribe Accred AI is committed to:

  • clearly identifying AI-assisted interactions,
  • maintaining visible review checkpoints,
  • supporting explainable workflow behavior,
  • and preserving user control over organizational outputs.

Our goal is to build systems that remain understandable, governable, and reviewable by institutional stakeholders.

5. Security & Access Governance

Tribe Accred AI is designed with institutional trust and operational security in mind. The platform incorporates security-focused practices including:

  • encrypted data transmission,
  • authentication safeguards,
  • permission-based access controls,
  • workspace-level organizational separation,
  • and controlled collaboration workflows.

We continue to evolve our infrastructure and governance practices as the platform grows. SOC 2 readiness and additional enterprise-grade controls are currently in progress.

6. Collaboration & Accountability

Accreditation is inherently collaborative. Tribe Accred AI is designed to support structured participation across:

  • administrators,
  • faculty,
  • compliance teams,
  • consultants,
  • reviewers,
  • and institutional leadership.

The platform aims to improve accountability through:

  • workflow visibility,
  • comment tracking,
  • role-based permissions,
  • approval checkpoints,
  • and version-aware collaboration.

7. Continuous Improvement

Accreditation standards, institutional expectations, and AI governance practices continue to evolve. Tribe Accred AI regularly reviews and improves:

  • platform security,
  • usability,
  • workflow design,
  • AI-assisted functionality,
  • and operational safeguards.

We are committed to building a platform that supports long-term institutional trust, operational calm, and responsible innovation.
